🍰 What’s Been Happening in Juliette’s Cake World?

September 2026

Well, September has absolutely flown by! 🎂

The summer holidays are over, the kids are back at school, and my little helpers have officially abandoned me! 😂

My granddaughter has started playgroup and my grandson has gone back to school, which means I'm back to doing everything myself again… baking, decorating, packing, cleaning AND trying to remember where I've put everything! 🤣

🎂 What Have I Been Baking?

It's been another busy month in the kitchen, with lots of completely different cakes keeping me on my toes!

This month I've made:

🐾 A Paw Patrol 2-tiered cake with matching cupcakes

👖 A extra special cake for a very special 100th birthday

📼 A 2-tiered 90s-themed cake

🌻 My watering can cake

✈️ A travel-themed cake

💍 A simple and elegant wedding cake

🎓 A business management cake to celebrate starting university

🍫 A large 15inch oblong chocolate cake

🎸 An Iron Maiden cake

🥂 And a Drunken Bratz doll cake

And I cant forget all the chocolate overload drip cakes

I definitely don't get bored making the same thing over and over again! 😂

Every cake brings a completely different theme, design and challenge, which is one of the things I love most about what I do.

🌻 My Favourite Cake This Month

Without a doubt, my favourite has to be the watering can cake.

A light green watering can covered in flowers — and definitely one that made me smile when it was finished. 💚🌸

It's always lovely when a cake turns out even better than you imagined when you first start making it.

And yes… I did have a little moment of “Ooooh, I actually LOVE this!” 😂

💜 A Little Behind The Scenes

September has also been a month of RESTOCKING!

Stock ✔️

More stock ✔️

Probably need more stock already ✔️😂

When you're a one-woman baking army, there's a surprising amount of stuff needed behind the scenes that nobody ever sees.

It's not just cake!

There's boards, boxes, dowels, boards for the boards… 😂 and enough packaging to make you wonder where on earth you're going to store it all.

And now my little helpers have gone back to school, it's all down to me again!

⭐ A Lovely Review

One of the lovely things about making cakes is hearing from customers afterwards.

I received a beautiful review from Jean's family following her very special 100th birthday cake, which was so lovely to read. 💜

It really does mean a lot when customers take the time to let me know they've loved their cake.

🎃 What's Coming Up In October?

October is already looking exciting!

I've got some very exciting cakes coming up, which I can't wait to get started on. 🎂

I'll also be getting ready for Halloween with my Halloween Treat Boxes, which will be packed with treats, sweets and a little something extra. 🎃🍬

And I've got a stall coming up at Stoney Royd Cemetery for their Wave of Light evening, which I'm really looking forward to.

📅 Cake Availability

I currently have some availability for celebration cakes from 17th–24th October.

So if you've got a birthday, celebration or just need a very good excuse for cake… you know where I am! 😂

And remember, I make everything myself, so there is only ONE Juliette.

Unfortunately, cloning myself hasn't made it onto my list of things to do yet! 🤣
